New looks and public post work again!

New code has new looks very clean, way more mobile friendly. Public posting working! Url shortening using /// in url works in posts and comments. You can have your post go to many aspects at once. My pod news link is not popping up right will fix tomorrow.

Post your public to identi.ca and others

I just tested HTTP://dlvr.it and was able to have it post to identi.ca ok. It can do buzz and linkedin and much more. Your public rss feed can be found by viewing your profile and your browser should show that page has a rss feed.

Happy New year. Link shortening option for all posts now!

Any public post with a photo will automaticly shorten your https://diasp.org/p/fjsajfoidsjfosdijf to a short URL. You can now also shorten ANY url in a post by adding an extra / to the link so http:///www.fooooooooo.bar.com would be shortened due to the /// after the http: works with http:/// and https:/// and ftp:/// David

pod status update

Well my decision to purge all user accounts and start over today is not wildly popular as I thought it would not be, but I think in the long term we can reset that Diaspora is a distributed thing. My decision was mostly based on the server I/O wait times being crap, and crashing the… Read More »
